Diesel Fuel System and CP4 Repair in Phoenix

Diesel fuel system and CP4 repair covers the high-pressure pump, injectors, rails, and lines that feed a diesel engine. Truck and Equipment Specialists diagnoses and repairs these failures, including the 6.7 Power Stroke CP4.2 pump, in shop or mobile across the Phoenix metro. Call (602) 663-0213 for an estimate.

Diesel fuel system component on the bench at TES in Phoenix

The fuel system is where a diesel lives or dies. On the Ford 6.7 Power Stroke, the CP4.2 high-pressure injection pump is the most serious failure we see. When that pump goes, it does not fail quietly. Metal debris spreads through the injectors, rails, and lines in one event, and by the time you notice, the damage is already downstream. The first sign is usually metal shavings or glitter in the fuel filter, which is exactly why we look closely every time we service one.

Owner Jonathan has spent 10+ years on diesels and built his name on the 6.7 Power Stroke specifically. We know how these pumps fail, what to check before you tow it in, and how to put it back together right. We work in shop or mobile across the Phoenix metro, and every job is quote-driven with no guesswork on the bill. Call for an estimate.

Catch CP4.2 failures early

The CP4.2 pump on the 6.7 Power Stroke, used on 2011 to 2022 trucks with CP4 still in use on 2023 and newer, throws its first warning as metal shavings in the fuel filter. We inspect the filter during service and read for code P2291 and low fuel rail pressure so we catch it before it takes the whole system with it.

Full fuel system replacement

When a CP4 lets go, the metal travels. We replace the failed components across the pump, injectors, rails, and lines so contamination does not come back to bite you a month later. Done once, done right.

CP4 reliability upgrades

After the repair, we can install a CP4 disaster-prevention bypass kit or a CP4-to-DCR conversion. These are fuel-system reliability upgrades that protect the rest of the system if the pump ever fails again. They are reliability parts, not anything that touches emissions.

Injector diagnosis and replacement

Injectors typically last 150,000 to 300,000 miles. When they wear, you get rough idle, misfires, reduced power, poor economy, white or black smoke, hard starts, or a ticking sound. We diagnose the failing injectors, replace them, and set the truck back to running clean.

Fuel filters and lift pump service

A lot of fuel problems trace back to a neglected filter or a tired lift pump. We service the fuel filters and lift pump as part of the job so the new parts run on clean, properly pressured fuel.
